 One of the things that the Philippiens are known for is the gogeous beaches that are called the world's finest. Some of the most popular beaches are Boracay, Panglao, and Palawan. These beaches are enjoyable for a day to relax or a time to scuba dive in the clear waters.

 

 

 

 

This bronze statue of Lapu-Lapu is located in Mactan Shrine. Lapu-Lapu was the native chieftain of Mactan Island that wanted to convert his people to Christians. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Magellan shrine is a large memorial tower erected in honor of the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan.
This spot is where the area where Magellan was killed in the Battle of Mactan on 1521.
